The short version
We collect only what we need to run the service. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models. Your CV content belongs to you.
What we collect
- Email address — used to send your sign-in link and identify your account. Nothing else.
- CV content — stored so you can revisit and continue editing past sessions. Kept until you delete your account.
- Job posting URLs — stored alongside your CV sessions so we can show you what each refresh was for.
- Credit balance and payment records — we store your balance and the amount of each top-up. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers.
What we don't collect
- We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising
- We do not collect your name, phone number, address, or any other personal details
- We do not collect analytics or behavioural data beyond what's needed to operate the service
How we use your data
Solely to provide the service — processing your CV, showing you past sessions, and managing your credit balance. We do not use your CV content or personal data for any other purpose, including AI training.
Third-party services
- Supabase — stores your account, CV sessions, and balance. Hosted on AWS (US West). Privacy policy.
- Stripe — processes payments. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored by us. Privacy policy.
- Anthropic (Claude API) — your CV and job description are sent to Anthropic's API to generate the refreshed version. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train models. Privacy policy.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@cvrefresh.com. We will action this within 7 days.
